Contact Lenses:

There is nothing better than seeing clearly and having your contact lenses feel amazing.

Not only is this a priority when Dr. Russell is helping you find your contact lens match, but it is just as important as maintaining your eye health. That little piece of plastic can cause harm to your eyes if not taken care of and fitting properly.

When it comes to taking care of your eyes it’s important to treat them well. Your eyes must last you a lifetime!

Eye Exams for the kids:

Here’s one of our favorite statistics: 80% of what we learn is visual. If you stop and think about it, that’s incredible.

What’s also incredible? All the information and learning that happens in those early years. What if your child’s visual system isn’t functioning as it should?

As parents we try to make sure our kids go to their well child visits, brush their teeth, look both ways before crossing the street, but we can overlook getting their eyes examined. We can be given the false sense of security that those little eyes are working as they should when they have those well child visits or school screenings. These are not replacements for a thorough vision and eye health examination from an Optometrist. Let’s make sure they are off to a good start!

Diabetic Eye Examinations:

Did you know diabetic retinopathy (diabetes in your eyes) affects more than 8 million Americans and is a leading cause of blindness?

Diabetic retinopathy has no pain involvement, so it’s essential that a thorough dilated diabetic eye examination is performed at least once per year. Permanent vision loss can occur if left unmonitored and untreated.

Eye Emergencies:

Did you forget to put on your safety glasses? Did you get that nasty eye infection your kids shared with you? Did you get a new onset of flashes or floaters? Did yard work get away from you? Are allergies driving you crazy?
